The Pistonhead Shovel was built by renowned chopper builder, Vince Summers.
I’ve heard about Vince’s work, but this is the first time I’ve seen one of his masterpieces in the flesh.
What first attracted me to the bike was actually the Pistonhead sugar skull logo that I recognised. Pistonhead is a drinks brand that helped sponsor my art exhibition last year...
Then I saw it was a Vince Summers bike and studied it for ages admiring the craftsmanship and detail.
