In the early 2000’s I used to watch a programme on TV called Biker Build-Off. The show had amazing custom builders, creating one-of-a-kind choppers.
One of the standout stars was Billy Lane of Choppers Inc. In one of his iconic designs, he made a hubless rear wheel!
To see a Choppers Inc. motorcycle in the flesh when popping in to Public Enemy Customs (in West Sussex, England), completely blew my mind. I didn’t quite believe it was an actual Billy Lane original until I saw a post on his Instagram, saying how he built the chopper in 2002 and it is now in England! 🤯
