Ruby

A few weeks ago I posted this piece on social media as a tribute to Ruby, the neighbourhood cat who passed away recently.

Within minutes of posting, an angelic neighbour bought it off me so I could gift it to Ruby’s owner, Karen (pictured).

What got me in a situation was that soon after the money was paid, Karen sent me a message thanking me and asking about the price! Yikes.

I surprised Karen with the art, to which she said, “You and the neighbour have made my year!”
